Learn With Me
Hi, I’m Harry – a physiotherapist by training, with a strong passion for education, personal finance, and wealth creation. My curiosity led me to crypto, and now I’m asking the questions you’re probably thinking. This podcast is my journey to understand it all, and you’re invited to come along. If crypto has ever felt too complex to start, you’re in the right place.

Real Talk for Everyday People
This podcast is built for beginners — not traders, tech bros, or fast-talking finance gurus. Just real conversations that help you take the first steps toward understanding crypto, without the overwhelm. I also provide you with the tools that I use to help me with my investing.

What are Cryptocurrencies?
Cryptocurrencies are digital money that isn’t controlled by banks or governments. Instead, they use blockchain—a secure, public record of transactions—to let people send and receive money directly. No middlemen, no paperwork.
Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, created in 2009, and it’s still the most well-known. Since then, thousands of others have been developed. Some work like digital cash, others power apps, and some even represent digital collectibles (NFTs).
Crypto gives you more control over your money, but it also means learning how to use it safely. Before jumping in, it’s worth understanding the basics—how to buy, store, and protect your crypto.

What is Hard Money?
Scarcity
Hard money is limited in supply. This scarcity helps maintain its value over time. For example, there is a fixed supply of Bitcoin—only 21 million will ever exist.
Divisibility
It can be broken down into smaller units without losing value. Gold, for instance, can be divided into smaller coins or bars, while Bitcoin can be split into tiny fractions (called satoshis).
Portability
Hard money can be easily transported or transferred. Bitcoin, for example, can be sent across the globe in minutes, while gold can be carried in smaller amounts.
Durability
Hard money is long-lasting and doesn't easily degrade. Precious metals like gold have been used as hard money for centuries because they don’t rust or wear out.
Resistant to Inflation
Hard money holds its value even when the value of fiat currencies (like the dollar) declines due to inflation. This is because there is a limited supply of hard money, so it doesn’t lose value in the same way paper money can.
Acceptability
Hard money is widely accepted and trusted as a form of value. Historically, gold has been accepted across different cultures and time periods, and now, Bitcoin is becoming more accepted worldwide as a form of payment.
